Vestiges of the St. Louis Browns remain well preserved in this collection of memorabilia from the 1940s. The Browns, who moved to Baltimore and became the Orioles in the early 1950s, won their only AL pennant during the wartime era and the set includes a pin commemorating that achievement. The giant, 6" diameter celluloid pin reads "American League Champions 1944" and is EX-MT. The trio of items also includes a rare luggage tag used by players and a 1943 vintage 8x10" team photo with 29 signatures, almost all of whom were part of the following year's pennant-winning club.
