Graded by PSA MINT 9. The difficulty is finding MINT condition 1953 Topps cards primarily with the one corner of red or black, corresponding with American League (red) or National League players (black). Very susceptible to minor chipping and showing some white, less than 1% (1,230 cards) of the 138,000 in total 1953 Topps cards submitted to PSA have been graded as PSA MINT 9. And that doesn't even include the centering issues, back chipping and light wrinkles in the soft card stick which permeates this issue. This George Kell (HOFer) example is stunning with a full color corner, fantastic centering, great color, gloss and focus. Always known to be an extremely tough card in high grade, this example is tremendous, one of only SEVEN graded at this level with NO higher graded examples.
