By the early '80s, the Rolling Stones were one of the last remaining groups leftover from the original "British Invasion" two decades prior. One of the main reasons for this was their ability to keep pace with the musical climate of the time, without losing any of their original blues-sleaze. Their 1982 live set STILL LIFE, was taken from performances from their U.S. tour a year before, when they headlined the biggest outdoor stadiums and arenas. This three piece lot includes an original mock-up for an unused gatefold of the 2 LP set. The 24 x 12" mock-up is made of actual photo's with hand painted embelishments. Seond is a test pressing of the LP and a rare picture disc version that utilized some of the pictures from the unused gatefold proposal. EX.
