After a stellar high school and collegiate playing career, Lynette Woodard made history in 1985 by being the first female member of the world renowned Harlem Globetrotters. This is a game-worn Globetrotters jersey donned by Woodard during that period. Wilson size 42 tag and "2" patch are on the bottom tail, and "WOODARD" is individually-stitched on the back above her number 16 on the colorful top, which shows heavy use. Woodard's Trotter lineage ran in the family, as her cousin, "Geese" Ausbie, played the last of his 25 seasons with the team that same year.
