Muhammad Ali was born on January 17, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky. He won the World Heavyweight Title from Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964, and announced his retirement in February of 1970 but was back in the ring later that October. He won the NABF Heavyweight Title On July 26, 1971, in a bout with Jimmy Ellis and he regained the World Heavyweight Title when he fought George Foreman in Zaire on October 30, 1974. He retired after losing to Trevor Berbick on December 11, 1981 with a final record of 56-5 with 37 KOs. Presented here is a signed contract dated July 6, 1990, between Muhammad Ali and Big Fights, Inc. The contract was for Ali to allow his voice and image to be used for a CBS Television Special in connection to a banquet done in Ali's honor. This is a two-page contract on Big Fights, Inc. stationery. The first page is boldly signed in ink by Muhammad Ali and Bill Cayton of Big Fights, Inc., both members of the Boxing Hall Of Fame. Bill Cayton has signed the second page. There is minor wear from handling. The two pages are stapled together in the upper left corner. There are no creases. 8.5x11". There is video available of Cayton and Ali together at the time of the contract signing. Certified by PSA/DNA.
