Considered the forerunners in the wave of British Punk, The Clash still retains an important place in musical and cultural history. Vocal frontman and rhythm guitarist Joe Strummer personally used this Telecaster Fender guitar during recording sessions for the Gross Pointe Blank soundtrack, and it was also used by Strummer to record his solo album "Earthquake Weather" in 1988-89. It bears Joe Strummer & the Latino Rockabilly War "Trash City" sticker on body, along with two remnants of other stickers. It shows visible use and comes with LOA from RR. The Strummer guitar came from his manager Gerry Harrington; Joe played with the Latino Rockabilly War after the Clash. There is a Latino Rockabilly War label on the guitar as well.
