This is a magnificent, first generation, Limited Edition (12/150) black and white photograph of the great Jackie Robinson kneeling in uniform on the field at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn. Photographed by the iconic sports photographer Neil Leifer on Camera Day, August 12, 1956. Leifer captures the essence of the man, in his final year in the Major Leagues. The photo is crisp and sharp with no creasing. 16x20". It is rare to offer an original Leifer and rarer still to be one of a man of the importance of Jackie Robinson. Seldom seen indeed!
