George Armstrong Custer (December 5, 1839 – June 25, 1876) was a United States Army officer and cavalry commander in the American Civil War and the American Indian Wars. Custer served with distinction for the Union Army during the Civil War. He is best remembered, however, for the massacre at the Little Big Horn in Montana when he was killed along with other members of his command on June 25, 1876, by a coalition of native American tribes. Offered here is a rare ink signature of General Custer. Boldly signed in fountain pen on paper measuring 1.25x3". No creases and clean. Comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA and a receipt from noted historical dealer Joe Rubinfine.
