On July 19, 1972, Muhammad Ali met Al "Blue" Lewis in a non-title heavyweight bout in Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland. Ali dominated and stopped Lewis in the 11th round. We offer here Ali's Ireland boxing license which he received for this fight. The license was given to a fan named Jim Ralston by Angeleo Dundee, who he met on a plane to Hawaii. Included along with the boxing license is a signed note from Dundee to Ralson. This license measures 3.25x8" when opened, has a photo of Ali and all information is filled in in ink. There is an official Irish Board of Boxing stamp near Ali's photo. The license shows some minor soiling and some edge and corner wear, the ink and photo are clean. The signed note is on the back of a Braniff ID card with Dundee's name written in marker. On the back is the handwritten note signed by Dundee to Ralston. The signature and note are clean. Any boxing license of Muhammad Ali is rare and this being from a foreign country may be unique.
