Here's an unusual artifact from Joe DiMaggio's turn on the Silver Screen - as a singer? One of two known, this one-sheet is from the 1937 film, Manhattan Merry-Go-Round. In the film, Joltin' Joe plays, fittingly enough, a baseball player, and actually sings the song "Have you Ever Been to Heaven?" The sheet measures 27x41" and has some tears as well as pictures of Joe. Whatever one may think of the film, the Yankee Clipper's calling was clearly meant to be on the baseball diamond; this piece is a rare treasure nonetheless.
