The legend of Super Mario has not faded in the years since his prolific playing career ended. These custom-fit CCM skates are the very ones that Mario Lemieux wore to record his 1,500th career NHL point on December 31, 2000. Not only did his one goal, three assist night hit the milestone number, but two of those assists were to Jaromir Jagr, who racked up his 1,000th career point in the same game, a 5-3 win over Ottawa. The skates show nice use with scuffs and puck marks and have "66" and a smaller "1,500" written on the undersoles in black marker. Additional dymo tape on each has "LEMIEUX 1" printed - both are signed by Le Magnifique in 6/10 gold paint pen.
