Hard to believe that he could look so dapper and handsome during a career of bare-knuckle boxing, but the tough-as-nails World Champ looks great in this vintage photograph, with a cardboard mount signed, "Compliments of John L. Sullivan, Age 25, To My Friend, Mr. Frank Hall." Some water-staining to the mount and a single hole above Sullivan's head do little to detract from the eye appeal, and nothing could diminish the importance of the piece. One of, if not the best, boxing autographs on the market.
