This brown Stetson hat was worn by Indy Car driver Jimmy Bryan, and originates from the private collection of Len Gasper. Bryan won his first, and only, Indianapolis 500 in 1958, and was killed in a crash at Langhorne Speedway just over two years later. This stylish size 6 7/8 hat has minor wear on the leather band but is in beautiful condition, and is photo-matched with Bryan pictured wearing it in several magazines and photos. Comes with LOA signed by Gasper and Jimmy Bryan's father.
