Nearly a century old, this 1925-26 Hillerich & Bradsby Ty Cobb/Joe Sewell professional model bat was factory-ordered and game used by Sewell. Measuring 34.5" and weighing 39.6 oz, it is signed three times by the Hall of Fame infielder; twice on the front barrel and once on back. Nearly a foot of tape is present throughout the handle, and this historic piece of lumber shows heavy use with many ball marks on the right barrel. The model C28 ash bat was sold by Sewell shortly before his passing, comes with JSA LOA for autographs and is graded by PSA/DNA as GU 10, with LOA verifying such. The durable Sewell at one point played over 1,100 consecutive games and remains statistically one of the most difficult players to strike out in MLB history. He was inducted into Cooperstown by the Veterans Committee in 1977.
