This baseball is signed by the six umpires from the 1963 World Series on a Joe Cronin Official American League baseball. Umpires are Tom Gorman, Shag Crawford, Tony Venzon, John Rice, Joe Paparella, and Larry Napp on the sweet spot (Crew Chief). Umpires are a crew of six only in All-Star Games and World Series, and we confirmed that this particular set of "Men in Black" were only used in this combination in the 1963 World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers - AND it was at Yankee Stadium as this is a Joe Cronin OAL baseball. In addition, this MUST be from either Game 1 or 2, as they only played two at New York in this truncated four game sweep dominated by Sandy Koufax at his peak. FURTHERMORE, there is a 50/50 chance that this is from Game 1 when Sandy Koufax had his record breaking 15-strikeout game to remember. Sweet revenge for the Brooklyn cum Los Angeles Dodgers waiting "Till Next Year" all through the 1940s and '50s. Letter of Authenticity from Lelands.com.
