A Fenway classic, this circa 1946 home Boston Red Sox jersey was game worn - the flannel #20 top was donned by versatile Mike Ryba, who served as both a pitcher and a catcher in his Major League career. The button-front top has Tim McAuliffe, "Ryba" and "46" tags inside neck, raised Red Sox lettering across the breast in red letters with blue trim with his number on the back. It shows nice use with multiple stains throughout the front and chipping on some buttons, but no tears or repairs evident. Ryba made 42 pitching appearances, mostly in relief, with a career-high 12 victories for the Sox in that 1944 campaign.
