Offered here is the original "Honorable Discharge" certificate releasing Yankees great Thurman Munson from his service in the US Army. Dated May 10, 1973, it comes with the original mailing envelope, on which Munson's name is misspelled. Originating from the late catcher's estate, it also comes with a signed document discharging Munson, and comes with a signed LOA from his wife, Diana. The Pinstripe captain's number 15 was retired shortly following his tragic death in a plane crash in 1979.
