Over his 17-year career, Rod Woodson established himself as one of the greatest defensive backs in NFL history. A special jersey, this white road model from 1993 has terrific use including paint transfers, scuffs, abrasions, pilling and at least 19 team repairs. It has also been photomatched to the 1993 AFC Wild Card Game between the Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs (Getty Images 81691276 and 81691264). It is all original with “26” on the front, back and both shoulders, “WOODSON” sewn on a plate on the back in yellow-on-black lettering, on the front tail is “93” year tag and Starter Pittsburgh Steelers tag with size 46 flag tag, and an NFL 75th Anniversary diamond patch on the left breast. The year of this jersey is important, because with eight interceptions, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery, Woodson was voted the NFL Defensive Player of the Year for 1993. All considered, this is the best Woodson jersey we have ever seen.
