One year after famously falling victim to Joe Namath and the Jets, the Baltimore Colts returned to the Super Bowl and shot down the Cowboys. Here's a fabulous piece from that special season: a banner comprised of the finest quality satiny parachute-type material with sewn-on letters attesting to the rich craftsmanship. Complete with an amazing image of the franchise's signature helmet, this was likely meant to be hung at the stadium indoors or for a dinner, press conference or promotional event of some kind. It reads: "BALTIMORE COLTS 1970 WORLD CHAMPIONS" and measures roughly 72x48". A recent fresh find that came right out of the Baltimore area and it appears NM.
