An amazing award presented to Bowie Kuhn on the occasion of the Baseball Centennial, dated January 14, 1970, this "Adirondack Big Stick Award" is one of only two known to exist (the other was Joe Torre). Signage is all brass, base is a heavy wood home plate. A trio of vintage bats (two of Cleon Jones and one Johnny Roseboro) are replaced. Stands a regal 35" tall, and brass plaque reads, "Presented to Bowie K. Kuhn Commissioner of Baseball For His Contribution and Meritorious Service To The Game of Baseball In Its 100th Year January 14, 1970." In EX condition.
