Six years after Mad Magazine broke ground in the realm of monthly satire magazines, Cracked hit the newsstands and thrived for nearly half a century with wit and wackiness. Here's some early art from Sol Brodsky's brainchild from 1961 featuring great pen and ink, and featuring a satire of the Jack Parr Show after his notable war with the media. Some of the captions are missing but the three pages are vintage. The lot also includes an original copy of issue #18, in which the piece runs.
