Argentine Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara remains a symbol of rebellion 50 years after his death. This 13x18" certificate was issued to a "Jose A. Alonso Alvarez" for his 491 hours of volunteer work for "Miembro Vanguardia del Batallon Rojo" between 1st July and 31st December, 1964 and contains the stamped signatures of Che Guevara and the secretary general. There is a tear on the bottom right and horizontal creases due to the receiver folding it. There is also paper loss next to the two heads. Included in the lot are color portraits of Marx and Lenin, and there is a "Guerrillero Heroico" 6x8" photo signed and inscribed by Korda on heavy stock paper (the back of the photo is in French).
