Dating from the 1940s, this stately loving cup trophy stands about 13" tall and includes a relief of Argentina's Juan and Eva Perone. Spanish-language engraving states, "Confederacion Argentina de Deportes, Comite Olympio Argentino." The Argentine Olympic Committee was formed on New Year's Eve of 1923, and was unified with the Confederacion Argentina de Deportes in 1927. There is a dent by the lettering and some light scratching but it still presents delightfully.
