They are "The Band That Wouldn't Die," as so named by Academy Award winning director Barry Levinson, one of Baltimore's native sons. As noted in his 2009 sports documentary, the Baltimore Marching Ravens band has supported three different franchises in that city since 1947 and was temporarily silenced as a result of the infamous relocation of the Colts to Indianapolis in 1984. Here is a blue and gold band member's uniform from the early days of the troupe. It features blue fringe, three metal buttons down the chest (one is missing), Ostwald tag in the collar with the number 22 and the Colts logo patch on the left shoulder. A cool and colorful collectible.
