Sadness reigned as the Brooklyn Dodgers played their last game at Ebbets Field before the move to Los Angeles on September 24, 1957. With both the Dodgers and the Giants committing to a move west earlier that year, Brooklyn's final home game resulted in a 2-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates as Dan McDevitt tossed a complete game and Gil Hodges drove in the final run. Only 6,702 fans were announced in attendance for that final game, and this rare ticket stub from that contest has been encapsulated by SGC as authentic and the ticket is torn but appears to be in VG condition.
