Offered is a Jackie Robinson Doll, with all contents, in the rarest version box available, complete and intact. This much larger version box is this condition is just unheard of and the finest one known. Recently discovered, it was obtained directly form the granddaughter whose grandmother, now 87, was a doll collector and has had this stored away neatly on a shelf since 1950. Composition doll shows almost no wear, has no crazing and uniform is complete with cap, shoes, and of course, his bat all in beautiful condition, although there is fading to the cap. The outer box and insert, both intended to be cut, are also intact. All extras are present and accounted for, doll hang tag (no string), as well as a Jackie Robinson comic book, among the rarest sports comic books as it's stamped "complimentary" edition by Fawcett, different than the 10 cent newsstand version. This is the sleeper that makes this ensemble so valuable. Jackie Robinson's Pocket Baseball Game in EX-MT condition as it has been scored. Box measures 15x15x4" and the doll is 13" high. Minor wear to outside of box and insert.
