Straight from hockey's goaltending "King," this TPS Response R8 model game used goalie stick was wielded by Henrik Lundqvist in the February 11, 2009, shootout victory when the New York Rangers defeated the Washington Capitals. The Getty Images photomatch shows Lundqvist celebrating after the final save of the 5-4 victory, and close examination of the photo shows the same marks on the blade as well as elsewhere. There is a Lundqvist nameplate on the stick and it is loaded with use, signed in blue where the blade meets the shaft, and certified with a JSA LOA.The original cloth-taped butt end is intact, the blade shows nice puck marks on the white cloth tape, there are actual puck indentations on across the shaft, and additional tape where the shaft meets the paddle. Lundqvist continued to use this stick, hence the additional visible use and marks.
