In a huge upset the College All Stars, starring Otto Graham, Pete Pihos, Charley Trippi, Pat Harder and coached by Harry Stuhldreyer of the Four Horsemen, beat Sammy Baugh's "World Washington Redskins" at Northwestern's Dyche Stadium in 1943. This piece pecifically features the X5L football and shows a great stadium view of Dyche, along with trumpets and "All Stars Battle Redskins Before 50,000. Harder Named All Stars Most Valuable." The 21"x26" poster is overall 26x21" in frame, it is the only one known and has natural folds but is otherwise in EX condition. From the Gus LeDonne collection, legendary football and sports collector who passed away too soon in 2013. A top of the line buyer, Gus bought the best of the best in the early days of our hobby.
