This Louisville Slugger Model K44 bat was made for one of baseball's great sluggers, Pittsburgh Pirates star Willie Stargell. Circa 1980-82, it shows light, if any, use, but is still a bat that was made for "Pops" to use in-game, and his number "8" is written on the knob in black marker. Stargell's signature in 9/10 black Sharpie adorns the barrel, putting the finishing touches on a fantastic piece. Also comes with an Official 1979 All-Star Game baseball (EX) signed in 7/10 pen on a side panel "Willie Stargell MVP-79'. The Hall of Famer blasted 475 career homers before retiring after the 1982 season.
