After his storied playing career, Hank Greenberg turned his career toward management in the Cleveland Indians system. This great letter is dated November 20, 1950, on Indians stationery, and contains amazing content from the former slugger. Typed on 8.5x11" paper and signed by Greenberg in blue ballpoint ink, there are two filing holes at the top and mailing folds, but the correspondence is otherwise in NRMT condition. In the letter, sent to Lewis Matlin of Bakersfield, he sternly cautions the business manager about an error that could have caused the loss of an important player, providing a great look into the business side of baseball.
