A stately two-piece trophy, this piece is mounted on a wood base measuring 11x19" with the base standing 5" tall. There's an engraved silver plaque on the stand reading, "Trenton Handicap, $50,000 Added, 3 Year Old and Upward, One Mile And a Furlong, Won By F.W Hooper's Olympic, Ch.C4 Big Game, Fortunedale, Garden State Park, November 7 1953," and the silver plaque is also stamped as sterling. The ornate trophy depicts baby angels holding the reigns of horses on opposite ends, the top with jockey comes off, it is slightly lopsided and there are two small dents that add to the character of this 1950s piece.
