These four consecutive images feature B.B King singin' the Blues at the "Soul Power" Music Festival, a three-night-long event hyping the fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. The festival included performances by King, James Brown and other R&B Soul greats. A series of images on a 35mm black and white negatives capture a celebrated moment in sports and music history, in NRMT condition.
The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
