These six consecutive images cover James Brown, Muhammad Ali and others during the historic boxing event held in Zaire in 1974. The "Soul Power" Music Festival, a three-night-long music festival to hype the fight between Ali and George Foreman included performances by James Brown and other R&B Soul greats. This series of six candid behind-the-scenes images on a 35mm black and white negative captures a celebrated moment in sports and music history, in NRMT condition. The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
