This 1924 Cleveland Bulldogs Championship gold football charm was presented to Joe Work, who played end for that squad, catching one touchdown pass for the Bulldogs in their championship run. It is engraved "Cleveland Bulldogs, 1924 World Champions" with their logo in the center, and the opposite is engraved, "Joe Work, End." The 1924 season ended in controversial fashion as the Chicago Bears played Cleveland in a season-ending "challenge match" - won by the Bears by a 23-0 count - but the NFL ruled the game as an exhibition as the end date of the season had passed. The Bulldogs officially finished with a 7-1-1 record, including an early win over Chicago.
