A splendid rarity, this 1938 scorecard is signed by Martin Dihigo and Lazaro Salazar, who are photographed as the managers of their respective Mexican clubs. Both played in the Negro Leagues, and Dihigo was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977. The signatures are in red ink and show bleeding with evidence of watermarks, and there's a vertical crease the length of the shorter side, with creasing on the right edge. The card is unscored and measures 11x5.5", with one side featuring an ad reading "Tres Marcas de Liga Grande," translating to "Three brands of big league." Those three brands are Louisville Slugger, Spalding and Tarin Sports. Despite the minor issues, this card still displays quite beautifully.
