From the files of official Cuban Government administration on behalf of The Cuban Nacional Association Professional Baseball Players is a full-page letter handwritten by Lazaro Salazar, known as El Principe de Belen, the Prince of Belen. Salazar was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1959 and is an important player in the history of the Negro Leagues, indeterminately one of the best two-way players ever. In his own handwriting he mentions "Santa Clara 1930 -1931, Almendares, Sta Clara, Mariano, Cuban Stars, New Cubans, Cuban House of Davis S.A. Cuidad, Trujillo Dominians, etc," and he signs in blue ballpoint. The official signature is Napoleon Reyes who was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973. Measures 8x10" with some minor soiling, overall condition is VG+.
