Used in the New York City area during the era of Mantle and Maris, this vintage police call box is not functioning, but could be housed with a working phone. The lime green case, weighing nearly 11 pounds, measures 12" high, 7" deep, and 8" across, and opens to reveal a vintage black, rotary-dial phone. The label on the front, which is not vintage, reads "To Call Police Use This Telephone." The lock mechanism is gone and the cover closes but does not fasten, and the original electrical wire still hangs from the bottom. A great accompanying piece for your Yankee throwback collection.
