Designed for the 2001 MLB All-Star Game in Seattle, this mesh top is the type of jersey used for pregame activities such as batting practice. The jersey bears Cal Ripkin, Jr's name and number "8" on the back and, though not used by the Iron Man himself, it is signed by Cal in 8/10 black Sharpie across the number on back. It is a button-front top with the "American" league logo across the breast, with Orioles logo on the right sleeve and 2001 ASG logo on the left. It bears a Majestic MLB Authentic tail tag, and has both MLB and Iron Clad Ripken holograms affixed.
