These two letters were written by renowned artist LeRoy Nieman. The first, in what appears to be black fountain pen, is to Hugh Hefner of Playboy fame. In addition to his sports works, Nieman is known for creating the Femlin, the risque cartoon figure that has graced the pages of the men's magazine for ages. The letter is 8.5x11" with ornate frame extending the piece to 13x15. Nieman has signed one edge in pen, and there is a photo of him holding this framed letter. The other, framed to 13.5x18", is written in red artist's crayon, with the mustachioed artist thanking a fan... and hawking his book. Both are in NRMT condition.
