Game used by perhaps the best closer of all time, this nice pair of Nike spikes was worn by New York Yankee and future Hall of Fame member Mariano Rivera. The size 11 spikes have "42" stitched on the top flaps of both, and the number is also inset into bottom of both heels. Rivera is regarded within baseball as one of the most effective relievers in major league history, pitching with a longevity and consistency rarely reached by others. The spikes are from the late 1990s to early 2000s, nicely worn, in excellent shape, and showing good use with dirt still present on the spikes. This is a tremendous game used item from one of the most iconic Yankees of the modern age and greatest players of his generation. '
