The best multi-signed bat that we have handled, this Hank Bauer model by Hanna Batrite was signed at the Hall of Fame in the 1950s. The back of the barrel has been cut to provide a flat surface for signing, but the bat is also signed on the front of the barrel. There are mounting holes on barrel and knob ends and tape residue on the handle, the bat is in EX condition and appears to have some game use. There are 19 signatures in black marker averaging 7/10; of those, 17 are Hall of Famers and all are deceased, with luminaries including: Cy Young, Paul Waner, Bill Terry, Dazzy Vance, Ray Schalk, Gabby Hartnett, Frank Baker, Mickey Cochrane, Tris Speaker, Jimmy Foxx, Chas. Gehringer, Fred Clarke, Al Simmons, Frank Frisch, Bill Dickey, Ed Walsh and Bob Lemon (only autograph that was signed later than the 1950s). The two non-Hall of Famers are Bud Hassett and Rollie Hemsley.
