Back when they were Pittsburg without the "h," the Pirates boasted a 96-57 record in 1905, good for second place in the National League. From that stellar season comes this very rare cigar tin - the first we have handled. Manufactured by Jenkinson's of Pittsburg, PA, the lithographed artifact, which measures nearly 6" tall and about 5.75" wide, exhibits some age with rust and a nice patina to the colored portions. Six years later, the city would re-integrate the "h" at the end of its name.
