This rare program is for an exhibition match on August 20, 1965, which occurred just a few month after the Ali-Liston cover photo was taken and ultimately before it was (much later) recognized as one of the greatest sports photos of all time. At this time, Muhammad Ali became the most hated figure in American sports - before he was (much later) named "The Sportsman of the Century." The incredible cover is by famed Time Magazine photographer Neil Leifer and the twelve-page program is of Cassius Clay fighting James Ellis and Harvey Jones over four rounds in Paisley, Scotland. Obtained directly from the original fan who attended at the time, it is in Excellent condition apart from scores in the center page.
