After an 85-76, fourth-place finish in 1962, the Detroit Tigers followed the lead of several other major league teams in previous years and toured Japan. Directly from that once-in-a-lifetime trip comes this souvenir double-play. First is a press pin that is no bigger than a thumbnail. It is in EX-MT condition and features a Balfour stamp on the back, as well as the engraving: JAPAN 1962, DETROIT TIGERS SHIN ZEN RYO KO. Second is a program from the trip that is in VG condition with scoresheet and pictures of Tigers team members inside. All the verbiage is in Japanese.
