Coveted and most desirable, this award is the 1992 Emmy acquired directly from esteemed News Correspondent Gene Randall. Presented in 1992 by "THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES" with a front placard that reads the Emmy was awarded in for "Outstanding instant coverage of a single breaking news story (program) "SAVING SOMALIA." A majestic statuette, it is two-toned silver chrome with gold base and accents, depicts a winged woman holding an atom, measures 15.5" high and weighs five pounds. This was an important story of the time, reported with expert precision by the formidable CNN Correspondent. Condition in EX-MT.
