One cannot possibly hold a candle to this torch, which was used in association with the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. The relay actually began on October 7, 2013, 123 days before the event actually began with the Opening Ceremonies in Russia. In all, this spectacular, 37"-long modern "keeper of the flame" visited 2,900 towns and villages across all 83 federal subjects of Russia through various modes of transportation, making it one of the most well-traveled and overall awesome lots we've ever offered. The first Russian torchbearer was NHL star Alex Ovechkin, who received the torch from Antoniou in Olympia, Greece, where it was lit.
