This display is an elegant, ornate gold gilted frame against a handsome dark green matte which has a letter on Irving Berlin Music Publisher's stationery; addressed to autograph collector Mr. Louis Huston from Irving Berlin's secretary also, is the envelope, autographed stamp, and a signed 8x10" photo. He says he is returning his dime as there is no charge for Mr. Berlin's pictures and that he will sign both the picture and the stamp. This is the gist of the letter. Signatures are an 8/10 and are in fountain pen. Irving Berlin was a famous Jewish American songwriter one of the greatest in history, and he is best known for "God Bless America." Berlin's daughter stated that the song was very personal and was intended as an expression of his deep gratitude to the nation for allowing an immigrant raised in poverty to become a successful songwriter. Measures 30.5x16.5x1.5" and EX+ condition.
