Direct from the family of disgraced baseball legend "Shoeless Joe" Jackson, this diploma from the Ohio Baseball Hall of Fame was presented to Jackson's family shortly after his death in 1951. It was signed by Thomas Eakin in 1980 and is housed in its original envelope. One of the greatest hitters in baseball history, Jackson was banned for life for his alleged involvement in the 1919 Black Sox scandal, though his impressive numbers in that World Series belie his "guilt."
