This collection of six trade cards was printed by Currier and Ives, which is not denoted, but have rich, full-color stone lithography consistent with their signature style and execution. Of the six cards, two are blank backed, and three have circa 1880 Jerome Park racing advertising, which would include a very early Belmont Stakes signed by August Belmont as President. Two are similar, with one being a rare variation. These three cards have a schedule of races for the first six days and the different purses for each race. Two are for the fall meeting and one is for spring; two measure 3.5x5.25" and one is 2.5x3.75". The last card with advertising is also circa 1880, has an advertisement for Putnam Nails on the verso, and has a famous horse, Luke Blackburn, on the front. The other two are also of famous horses Hanover and Spendthrift and are postcard size 3.5x5.5". Overall condition is EX+.
