You'd be hard-pressed to find another baseball exactly like this Spalding model celebrating the game's 80th anniversary in 1956. Designed to match the size, weight and stitching of 1876, the ball is stamped: "Commemorating Spaldings 80th Year" and also features the Spalding logo and "1876 1956." Balls such as this were most likely given to retailers or at a function such as a celebratory banquet. To date, we have only come into contact with two others such as this beauty, which is in EX-MT condition.
